Hannie Dropkicks Bra Size

They SUJET the rhapsodies roumaines quelques ... ou presque

Did you know? Some teachers had already composed in the middle romantic period, the Romanian rhapsodies! Then came Enesco. His two rhapsodies , far from closing the gender prevailed so successful that they could only create new compositions, Romanian ... almost. Small overview.

Enesco

The rhapsody most playful, the most typical, most exuberant, does not she look next to Enesco ? In this first rhapsody, as performed and recorded, it should probably regret the false impression that it gives the composer Romanian, certainly not an easy author. But it would be a shame not to recognize the wonderful success it represents.
The virtuosity of the orchestra, brilliant orchestration, the songs typical irrésisitible the sequence of dances, the whistling of dancers, all this makes this short piece a gem, a grace at all times. The composer obviously takes great pleasure in magnifying hora dancing round shaped , and quotes the famous aria of the lark,
Ciocarlie . The Romanian folk music, often used by gypsy musicians, is famous in all Balkans and inspired Goran Bregovic for the soundtrack Undergroud , Emir Kusturica.

Those expecting another with rhapsody of Enesco to a new high virtuosity are somewhat taken aback. This second rhapsody is placid, philosopher and is this time the spotlight to the nostalgia, the golden
Romanian. It evokes the best of the Enesco become the doina suites for orchestra and opera Oedipus .
is a work he must listen again and again. It turns out that much deeper the first, as long as it renounces the Zimbabwean booms usually expected in such compositions. Well played - which is rare, even in hard - she does have an unusual power of conviction.

To listen, we will search for Romanian performers ( Enesco itself Georgescu, Silvestri) that have served the music tremendously. All this is in Tahra, Lys (unfortunately deleted, it must rummage through bins balances) or Electrecord EDC 540, and Supraphon SU 3514-2 001 Silvestri / Czech Philharmonic, which remains an excellent choice.

Before Enesco: Porumbescu and ... Liszt

amateurs young Ciprian Porumbescu left a handful of short pieces not always inspired. His Romanian Rhapsody (1882) shines though a special fire in the catalog of Romanian author. Close to those of Liszt, she definitely enjoys the lush orchestration of Constantine Bobescu (1899-1992) , who has been able to exploit fully the naively celebratory aspect of this play nice. And development, this work of ten minutes - exactly the same duration as the two rhapsodies Enesco - has a prominent place among the achievements of the genre. We can only encourage the organizers of symphony concerts ever so unwilling to think outside the box to restore honor to this composition endearing, if not very refined.

To listen: the interpretation of the orchestra of RTV, executive Paul Popescu, was postponed on two CDs Electrecord EDC 162 (dedicated to Porumbescu) and ELCD 105, panorama of Romanian symphonic music.

Liszt ! The master of the rhapsody. The 19 Hungarian Rhapsodies form the model. Slow introductions, developments v rtuoses, ends in apotheosis, in a word, it slams in all directions in a fireworks constant, if we are willing to forget the 5th, a funeral march. A music so vivid and colorful that it inspired the famous cartoon where Bugs Bunny squabbling with a mouse on a piano (we find the same story with Tom & Jerry) while massacring second rhapsody. For many children, a memorable first contact with the Hungarians!

But do we know the tireless Liszt also wrote a Romanian rhapsody? This piece, composed
about 1849 after a trip through Wallachia and Moldavia is a tribute to Lautar Barbu and likely all traveling musicians of the Romanian provinces. Discovery Museum in 1930 in Weimar by Liszt diplomat and musicologist Romanian Octavian Beu, this work did not have a title yet. The name Romanian Rhapsody is late and apocryphal, though rhapsodic form of the work does not in doubt.
Less famous than her sisters in Hungary, the Romanian Rhapsody Liszt is a rarity need to find some CDs or isolated deep in the integrals. Just listen to understand why. Indeed, the result does not really stand the Hungarian Rhapsodies. We hear the same materials recovered from them, particularly the third. Despite its expressiveness, a minor piece, and without real interest, which may explain its rarity in the repertoire of great performers.

To listen: CD Natalia Gutman "Rumanian Rhapsody", Claves 50-9906. A big thank you to Mr. Nicolae Lucian for his valuable information.

Caudell

The Moldovan Eduard Caudell will remain there forever "and" the violin teacher who had the fortune of being the first master of Enesco ? Hopefully one day his compositions out of oblivion because the little I know, though devoid of genius, I think the most honorable. His Memories Carpathian ( Amintiri Din Carpati ), for orchestra, sounding like an echo of the country's young Enesco Rhapsodies , exiled in distant Paris. This work shows that robust Caudell was more than an estimable violinist province. We appreciate the delicate doina median and dazzling dance finals, we will definitely regret that writing Caudell remained on the whole a little too ... wise.

To listen: the Philharmonic Orchestra "Moldova" Iasi, dir. George Vintila, Electrecord ELCD 104.

Golestan

Romanian living in Paris, author of several rhapsodies, this is of course ... Stan Golestan (1875 - 1956) . If this music has had some success at the time, it is very seldom heard nowadays.

His first Romanian Rhapsody (1912) launches calls copper on heroic motto perpetuo ropes. The second theme introverted eyeing the Russian side. Development sequences; transition and nostalgic song of the oboe (Doin) with tremolos. Recapitulation final peroration with the Russian theme in the major. The work, most agreed that those Enesco , suffers from a sonata form too predictable. Note that in the historical record (with cuts) by Piero Coppola, a man's voice without words accompanying doina median.

The language of "Romaneasca" (1920) for solo violin and piano or orchestra, even accusing the classicism. Golestan attempts to reconcile this false legacy and folklore scholar. Dance led by the violin at both ends of the piece is the most attractive way.

To listen: the first rhapsody is on a CD entitled "Piero Coppola directs French music (!) Of the twentieth century." As this disc is published by Lys and Lys sank, it remains only to China in the second-hand shops ... Benoit D. (See acknowledgments) told me happily announces the latest version of Radu Zvoristeanu made me reconsider the value of the score, and the historic recording of "Romaneasca", by the great pianist and Lola Bobesco Ginisty A.-M. Brisson for his Master's Voice (1939).

Elenescu

No, it's not a typo: it is indeed here the conductor and composer Elenescu (1911-2003) , Emanuel's first name.
His rhapsody (1937) introduced the language very solemnly classical melody of the winds, shaped colinde (Christmas Carol). The violin solo anime discourse and illuminates the work of his tricks, until the very outer coda. It may take a certain pleasure to listen to this page in the interpretation of the virtuoso Ion Voicu , defender of the privileged repertoire and very welcome here. Nothing extraordinary, however in this work with violin obbligato, neoromantic and harmless. It does not, for example, compare this rhapsody to a contemporary work as the extraordinary Caprice Enesco's Romanian , so sincere tribute - and intelligent - at lautar.

On the interpretation of the young Florin Ionescu-Galati available in an album dedicated to Emanuel Elenescu (UCMR ADA 1508531), we prefer that of Ion Voicu (EDC 434-435). The orchestra is in all cases under the direction of the composer.

Constantinescu

Although not himself studied in the field of music popular Paul Constantinescu (1909-1963) has developed a great knowledge of folklore, thanks to his knowledge of Many collections of collections. He composed three rhapsodies from 1936 to 1956 ( Rhapsody olteneasca ). His Second Rhapsody
(1949) is the only one we have been heard. In the romantic spirit, the work begins with an introduction oppressive. A pattern haunting flute opens the way for a gradual excitement. Constantinescu obviously likes to write, as usual, a suite of dances to the rhythm strongly marked. The lively coda completes the piece successful.

Ion Baciu recorded this work with the musicians of the Philharmonic "Moldova" Iasi under his leadership (1973, CD Electrecord ELCD 103).

Negrea

Less well known than Paul Constantinescu Martian Negrea (1893-1973) has also drawn heavily on the popular inspiration. His two Romanian Rhapsodies give him the opportunity to contrast different approaches to the genre.

The first, op. 14 (1935), driven by an archaic theme and threatening to Borodin, expands into a vast fresco bucolic sort of homage to the homeland. A central interlude, entrusted to the woods, offers a welcome respite.

Five years later, the second (Op. 18) combines his pastoral prelude tone (use of the pedal) to the eastern range: effect guaranteed. Scenes festive, ethereal harmonies and dreamlike atmosphere succeed, making this most original and engaging piece that rhapsody before. Lautaresques episodes (*) are preparing a strange transition where the orchestra juxtaposes the themes already heard. The end soothed, if rare in the genre rhapsodic, completes a work unexpectedly smooth and nicely written.

(*) of lautar, popular Romanian violinist.

be found on the CD Electrecord ELCD 103 already quoted the first rhapsody Negrea under the baton of Elenescu, with the orchestra of RTV Romanian. A replay of 1973, as did the second rhapsody, this time interpreted by the orchestra of RTV Romanian studio (we assume that this orchestra is different from the first!) directed by Carol Litvin.

Besarab A slow emergence of serious resources to let the orchestra sing a melody in unison. His sudden fall opens an era of uncertainty, embodied by the bass clarinet while a wave rumbling through the orchestra. Sudden thinning when the rhapsody seems to borrow a few methods to Chabrier's España . A fantastic walk, murmurs of Carpathian Forest, intervention lautari (a bit like the prelude in unison Following the first of Enesco ) give a spiritual turn and shifted to the orchestral score. A doina the flute, the return of lautari - solo, the tempo accelerated and finally in unison with the strings - complete in good mood this atypical Rhapsody (1954), due to Besarab Mircea (1921 - ).

Mircea Besarab personally directs the George Enescu Philharmonic of Bucharest to record his rhapsody (Electrecord ELCD 103, 1970).

Seiber

A Transylvanian Rhapsody written by a Hungarian? This is the work proposed in 1941 by Matyas Seiber, a pupil of Kodaly and jazz enthusiast. Hungarian style is immediately apparent here: there is much in Bartok qu'Enesco. A musical illustration of a historical territorial dispute between two neighbors .... We appreciate the care given to the instrumentation of this page successful but somewhat severe.

WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln, dir. Hubert Sudan (Westdeutsche Rundfunk).

Stoya

Like many other Romanians, Achim Stoya studied the art of composition in Paris - the famous Schola Cantorum, with Le Flem, Koechlin and Dukas - and music popular in his homeland. His first single and elsewhere rhapsody is subtitled "Moldoveneasca. Page laughing and running smoothly, studded with imitation of folk instruments and a few allusions to the first Enesco. Nothing subversive in this page from 1963, neo-romantic devil, cheerful and outgoing, but ultimately a bit pointless.

Philharmonic Orchestra "Mihail Jora" of Bacau, Dracea Ion (Romanian Radio).

Ligeti

Should we add György Ligeti this page devoted to composers of Romanian rhapsodies? After careful consideration of several minutes, I answered Yes, and I immediately added: without a doubt. This

for one simple reason: the fans of this particular style of music, bringing folk music in a scholarly form without distorting it, will know what Concert Românesc . This Romanian Concerto for orchestra (1951) does not yet belong to the period of "revolutionary" by Ligeti and should not put off those who are wary of contemporary music. Instead, Ligeti, who studied the postwar Folklore Institute of Bucharest, composed by an exciting musical suite where he mixes originals with folk themes inventions of his own. The result (about fifteen minutes) is a success, citing both Bartók qu'Enesco.

To listen: if its
Concert Românesc is nothing inaccessible to current music, the rest of the CD "Ligeti Project II" (Teldec) offers works certainly less accessible. More reason for this rush on this disc essential to discover highs as Lontano or atmospheres (the F # record which speaks of this CD is 3'40 ", track 9).

Chiriac

Exactly at the same time (1951) as Ligeti and Concert Românesc , Mircea Chiriac composed his first rhapsody. The four melodic ideas it contains come from Wallachia. The originality of this rhapsody is being written for popular vehicles. The symphony orchestra, later, still use a dulcimer, in addition to full orchestra - including a piano and a harp. This page
surprised by his refusal to pay an unbridled joy. Its rhythms are sometimes encountered, the melodies almost serious. It nevertheless enjoys the rare dialogue between the dulcimer and the English horn. Probably guided by the desire not to distort the measurement across the popular mind, Chiriac refuses to outbid own kind and just finished his play by the juxtaposition of different musical themes.
should listen to this piece in its original version to better capture its spirit.

The symphonic version is available from EDC Electrecord 579/580, Orchestra Simfonia has Filarmonicii din Craiova, dir. Teodor Costin. The two CD album is dedicated to Mircea Chiriac.

Weinberg

Rhapsody on Moldavian Themes : so called Opus 47 of Mieczyslaw Weinberg . The title is very likely a camouflage to fool the zealous servants of the post-Soviet war. Moldova is the country of Weinberg's parents, they had to flee because of pogroms. The composer wanted to pay homage to its origins by drawing on Jewish melodies, by pretending to inspiration Moldova. Given the year - 1949 - why not see here a tribute to the victims of barbaric anti-Semitic, regardless of the oppressor? This game succeeds him risky, if not completely convincing: the critics (if one may so describe the reactions of stupefying doctrinaire) addressed themselves to the shape of the rhapsody, not inspiration.

We would sing the praises of such a snub to the totalitarian stupidity. But I must admit that this Rhapsody fails to convince. Traditionally built in slow and fast movements, she attracts the attention by its careful orchestration, his allusions to Shostakovich (final Leningrad), its swirling strings, the hissing of the orchestra. But it is eagerly awaiting a higher bid, a sublimation that never comes, and the work ends in a tumult many agreed. Relative disappointment all the more cruel than Weinberg is a talented composer, still largely unknown.

Vainberg, Wainberg Vaynberg, and other spellings also designate this artist. Rhapsody is available on his CD "Symphonies Vol. 2" (Chandos 10337), with the 2nd Symphony and the Sinfonietta No. 2. National Orchestra of Polish Radio in Katowice, dir. Gabriel Chmura.

Cziffra

What comes to György Cziffra , the famous pianist in this list? That we suspected to be the reincarnation of Liszt still did not he also composed a rhapsody Romanian? No, of course. Although ... this extraordinary improviser has left (And recorded) a Fantasy Romanian Gypsy tunes (in Hungarian: Román cigánfantazia ), which recalls in many respects, the work of the great rhapsodies. Improvising freely on reminiscences of Liszt, Enesco First, dances popular with imitation tzambal (cembalum), great Cziffra - who here remembers its origins gypsies - we offer a postcard virtuoso and colorful.

To listen: this Fantasy Romanian (Rumanian Gypsy Fantasia , or Román cigánfantazia ) is available from Hungaroton Classics or in the case of Untraceable EMI devoted to Hungarian pianist.

String Quartet The Quartet Transylvania (Transilvania Cvartetul ), composed of members of the Symphony Orchestra of Cluj, recorded under the name Suite Romanesti (Romanian Suite ) a graceful garland air popular. No "recreation" as scholarly for this scheme Nicusor Silaghi, concertmaster of the ensemble, but the original songs in their simple harmony. A successful experience. Each of the four-movement suite (42 minutes total) paid tribute to the folklore of a region of Transylvania and Maramures, Moldavia, Banat, and finally Muntenia and Oltenia. The course work ends with the singing of the lark ( Ciocarlie ) in melodic climax of this festival.

Klezmer Klezmer tradition, firmly entrenched in the culture of Central Europe, knows illustrate how sometimes surprising some popular and scholarly standards. Such is the case for this Rhapsody No. 1 Enesco, revisited by the musicians of Shirim Klezmer Orchestra in Album "A Klezmer Nutracker" . Clarinet, trombone, dumbek, piano, accordion, banjo, drums, tuba together for a frantic frenzy. The enthusiasm of the musicians the listener. It is not known what to applaud this wonderful klezmer, virtuosity, verve, the complicity of the performers, unexpected transitions between the Romanian folklore and Hasidic tradition ... Beware! Purists refrain (CD Newport Classic, LC 8554, 1998 - site of all: www.shirim.com ) .

We can ignore the miraculous song
Roumania, Roumania , written by actor, tenor and whimsical Aaron Lebedeff (Lebedov, Lebedev ...) and repeated by many sets of Klezmer music. The brief citation of the first rhapsody Enesco (at 2'38 in the interpretation of the Klezmer Conservatory Band ) allows us to include this song here. It will also seek a CD of manic Sirba byte, with an instrumental version of Roumania, Roumania - among other pieces equally beautifully interpreted.
This site dedicated to Aaron Lebedeff (aaronlebedeff.free.fr / index.htm) can listen to some of his songs. It should be noted among them Gib Mir Besarabye! , that is to say, Give me Bessarabia! , sort of equivalent Moldovan Roumania, Roumania , with reference to the new Rhapsody 1st Enesco.

Harmonica

The first rhapsody Enesco is a nth incarnation by the grace of Claude Garden , harmonica virtuoso. If the performance of the artist is amazing, the resulting sound a little skeptical. Everything depends on the expression of the single melodic line, and in the absence of an accompanying somewhat consistent (it is far from the generosity of Shirim Klezmer Orchestra ) all this suffering to keep his interest. Remains the dexterity of Claude Garden indisputable.

few years ago, the Chinese audience a concert could hear the same arrangement in a rhapsody of Mr. (or Ms.?) Chew Hee-Chiat, for orchestra Symphony and the King's Harmonica Quintet . This set of harmonica enthusiasts, "World Champions 1997" from their site , recorded this concert for Chinese TV (see home.netvigator.com / ~ cblau / KHQ ) . We will await an unlikely replay at our latitude to take action on this intriguing experiment.

Syrinx

The story takes place so that no human has yet been created. Satyrs and gods of the forest continue the beautiful nymph Syrinx, never succeed in reaching it. But one day, the wily Pan manages to carry his prey in the river Ladon. About to be reached, Syrinx address a prayer to his distraught sisters here it is transformed into a sheaf of reeds. Pan catches and, despite not feeling the body of his beloved deep breathes sighs. Miracle! The sound then returned by the reeds charm the god. He decided to join with wax different reeds of different sizes to produce notes of all heights. The panpipes or syrinx, is born.
Such is the story that Mercury starts to tell Argus with a hundred eyes to sleep in - and behead him in his sleep, according to Ovid (Metamorphoses , I, 663-745). The

syrinx remained the emblematic instrument of Balkan cultures. All French people know the music by Vladimir Cosma for The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe , with the famous syrinx of Zamfir, famous virtuoso of the instrument. We will listen with great interest his Romanian Rhapsody Great for pan flute and orchestra or Rhapsody of Spring, which he recorded in 1983 with the Orchestra of Monte-Carlo headed by the chief of Romanian origin Lawrence Foster (Philips 412 221-2 - thank you Lucian Nicolae for his kind contribution).

But Zamfir was not the first choice of Cosma. The partition of the Grand Blond was intended to Simion Stanciu virtuoso, "King of the pan flute" better known by the name of his instrument: Syrinx. His own Moldavian Rhapsody (Rhapsody Suita Moldoveneasca ) with orchestral accompaniment in three parts fast - slow - fast is available from Cascavelle (VEL 3109), again with Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo and the stick of Claude Schnitzler. The work convinces the garland dance finals, in which virtuoso orchestra and lively exchange lines and syncopated. However, Romanian Nostalgia ( the Doina ), the same author, must receive greater attention by the haunting sounds Syrinx and encountered that manages to squeeze in Sinai. The Violin of the Enescu Impressions d'Enfance is not so far. Last page written by the virtuoso and proposed by the same CD: Dance Romanian ( Folk Suite), actually a mini-cycle of dances not always characterized and in which the orchestra must be discreet in order not to drown soloist. We also find on the cake of irremovable Balada Porumbescu Hora Staccato and G. Dinicu better suited to the violin for which they were composed. Impeccable soloist in Syrinx Debussy. Alas, the arrangement of other orchestral works ( Hungarian Dances by Brahms, Romanian Folk Dances by Bartok and opening Ruslan and Ludmilla by Glinka) gains nothing to see add the panpipes, which merely doubling the main melody line. Beautiful record of Jean-Charles Hoffelé.

Folklore

In addition to art music, it is common for folk musicians have arranged their own vision of Romanian folk music. These "improvisations" are not authentic folklore, far from it, and for the general public. Music lovers intransigent on respect for original scores will go their way. The others will take some interesting listening to these boisterous potpourri, many rhapsodies isirées miniature of the great masters and highlighting the sounds of instruments so special terroir. However, it is assumed that these visions folkloric sound much better with a few glasses of tzuica! (Brandy, plum brandy).

This will listen to the instrumental suite (instrumental suite) where the orchestra popular Paraschiv Oprea is heavily loaded with typical instruments like taragot (hybrid between oboe and clarinet), the cobza (lute), the Cimpoi (Bagpipe), the caval (large flute), the indispensable tzimbal (dulcimer) and of course the nai (panpipes). The Sinai found in the hands of Radu Simion who finishes his album of classical arrangements by Transylvanian Suite ( Suita Transylvania) to fast tempos.

Paraschiv Oprea recordings are found in various compilations. I found his instrumental suite on a CD simply titled Greetings from Romania (Intercont Music). Radu is published by Simon Electrecord, a CD of classical arrangements (Classical Panpipe), whose interest is not always obvious.

Other countries: Italy

Ah! Casella. The friend of Enesco wanted to measure up to his dear brother in committing Italia, "hénaurme" rhapsody Alps. Clear at once that this kind of cake symphonic delights me to the highest point. Of course I am not my daily bread - the neighbors would not stand and, anyway, indigestion watching. After the classic episodes - the plaintive flute of the shepherd who sings his solitude, the dawn on Lake Como and other cards worthy of a special issue of Point de Vue and pictures world devoted to Italy - a Funiculi Funicula somewhat dissonant introduces the last part. Therefore a growing frenzy seizes the orchestra, like the tarantella Rossini arranged by Respighi in Boutique Fantasque (for the record, the tarantella accompanied Louis de Funès in the famous scene in the garage Corniaud , Gerard Oury) . Casella does not lace to conclude his rhapsody: a heroic runaway connects a tidal wave of sound effects, real escalation in the monumental epic - which must provide its much smaller effect on the public, or what is left. To be reserved for special occasions ... or shake the depression, especially if they are Italians.

The only time I found the rhapsody Italia is in a now defunct brand and reputation in the execrable music stream, namely Pilz. And yet, Silvio Frontalini makes the most of the National Orchestra of Moldova and I never regretted my purchase. Now, whether Italia is available elsewhere, mystery.

Bulgaria

Singular relations between two neighboring countries and apparently so similar. In truth, the Romanians know almost nothing about their southern neighbor. And no better Bulgarian side ... Strange situation mutual ignorance among the two countries admitted into the European community! Pancho Vladigerov is, as its name does not indicate, a prominent Bulgarian composer of the twentieth century. He has maintained close relations with the Romanian musical circles, orchestrating the occasion of popular tunes such as the Hora Staccato of G. Dinicu . One might imagine that its Rhapsody Vardar of 1928 would be the exact counterpart for his country Enesco Rhapsodies . This is not entirely the case. After a brief introduction to Hary Janos , the first theme is exposed to the ropes. This song, written on the measure typically Bulgarian 5 / 8, is repeated until the climax. His majesty evokes second rhapsody Enesco . But unlike the latter, Vladigerov favors single issue, preferring to play tones and tempos. The central part, lively sounds a suite of dances (horo ) in pleasant contrast with the introduction. This episode energetic flourishes in triumph on a solemn conclusion, derived the first part.
It is surprising that the Bulgarian composer has put so much energy and passion, all his life, return to this room rather anodyne and conventional writing. We can assume that the work which it is derived ethnomusical justifies such an interest, because nothing here seems to exceed in merit the two Romanian Rhapsodies Enesco .

version for violin and piano: Svetlin Roussev and Elena Rozanova (Ambrosia AMB9953). Version for piano four hands by Genova & Dimitrov (CPO 999 733-2). Orchestral version:?

How Can Somebody Die From Anorexia

DAYS OF THE SEA: SEAS, OCEANS, A TREASURE

the occasion of international days of the Sea of 4 to 8 June, I decided to speak to appeal to respect for sea sea which allows me to live my passion with the kite on the 5 continents. The sea that nourishes as how they are to be filled with live fish caught. But also the sea dirty. Too often. As is currently the case in Louisiana. The days of the sea illustrate the Grenelle Sea knowing that France has the 2nd space marine world after the USA and ahead of Australia. So this weekend if you are lucky enough to walk to the waterfront, remember that you have in front of you a fascinating world. Protect our oceans. They are my field of "game" and our wealth.
